Gaurav Kumar is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a PG-Diploma in Embedded System Design from CDAC, Bengaluru. He has a strong background in C Language, Linux, RTOS, Linux Device Drivers, Yocto, Python, numerical libraries, DSP systems, Embedded C, and Microcontrollers such as ARM, AVR, and 8051. He is also well-versed in imx6 nxp Development boards, powerPC, beaglebone black, rpi, and has knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, USB, ADC, and Bluetooth profiles, BlueZ, PyBlueZ protocols. Currently, Gaurav is working as an Embedded Software Engineer at Firstview Consultants, where he has gained expertise in Linux device drivers, Embedded Yocto Project, bitbake build chain, python wrapper development for PWM, watchdog timer Linux driver source code and python wrapper development, Python packages for different functionalities, Linux Kernel configurations(menuconfig) for various modules(BLE, Wi-Fi, LTE, etc.), familiarity with Bluetooth profiles(obexftp, obexopp, etc.), SysVInit to Systemd, and imx6 ultra-lite evk board peripheral tests. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Gaurav has also worked in DRDO on a permanent position.
