Gaurav Kumar is a seasoned Business Development Manager with more than 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in infotainment and telematics validation. He has broad technical knowledge and expertise in leading and coordinating manual and automation test projects, as well as excellent leadership skills on the CAN protocols and majority features of automotive infotainment systems, from OEMs to suppliers. Gaurav is a skilled test lead with good business knowledge, able to develop plans, schedules, estimation, quotes, and prepare and conduct tests with reports until production launch for various OEMs and suppliers. He is also experienced in coordinating project activities with other departments, such as systems, development, and management. With his expertise in handling and interacting with suppliers and OEMs, Gaurav is able to resolve system issues and coordinate with systems, software, and program groups within the company. He is capable of working independently with any automotive infotainment systems and has excellent skills and expertise in analyzing customer requirements effectively. Gaurav is also able to optimize, design, and implement test cases/scripts, as well as review and execute them for both manual and automation testing. He has coordinated various functional activities until production launch and has knowledge in various stages of the SDLC and worked on various stages of the STLC. As a team leader, Gaurav has better people management and coordinating skills, having led teams in the project. He has worked on tuner, navigation, Bluetooth, multimedia, eCall, cluster validation, and telematics, with exposure to and participation in process audits and compliance with CMMI level 5, Automotive SPICE & APR’s (Account Performance Review). Gaurav's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Motivational Pathway and Kendriya Vidyalaya. He is currently working as a Project Engineer at Wipro Limited Panasonic, with previous experience at Magneti Marelli and Harman as a Test Engineer and Team Lead, respectively.
