Gaurav Kumar is a dynamic and driven CS Junior at BITS Pilani with a passion for computer science and engineering. With a current GPA of 9.5, he is a dedicated student who is committed to achieving academic excellence. As a Teaching Assistant for Database Systems - CS F212, Gaurav is responsible for assisting professors in conducting lab sessions, grading assignments, and providing academic support to students. Gaurav has gained valuable experience through his past internships at Centre for Railway Information Systems and as a Microsoft Engage Mentee at Microsoft. During his time at Centre for Railway Information Systems, he worked on developing a web application for tracking train movements, which gave him an opportunity to apply his knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python. As a Microsoft Engage Mentee, he was mentored by industry experts and learned about the latest technologies and trends in the field of computer science. Gaurav's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which he is expected to complete in 2024. He also completed his secondary education from Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School, where he was a high-achieving student and actively participated in extracurricular activities such as cricket and debate competitions. With 0.27 years of relevant experience, Gaurav is a promising candidate with a strong foundation in computer science and engineering. He is a quick learner, a team player, and possesses excellent communication skills.
