Gaurav Kumar is a Senior Applications Engineer I (Physical design) at Synopsys (India) EDA Software Private Limited with over 6 years of relevant experience. He has worked on lower technology nodes for Layout design as well as custom cells design and has also worked on the ic22 pinaccess for Samsung 8lpp library. Gaurav has a good understanding of digital electronics and circuit design, as well as the placement of standard cells at the design level. He is also well-versed in STA and fabrication processes, physical verification (DRC, LVS), schematic design, and other related areas. Gaurav has extensive knowledge of standard cell, antenna effect, electromigration, latch up, fingering, sharing, and tap architecture, and is familiar with Synopsys CDesigner, Maxwell, ICV design tools, as well as different foundry and different foundry processes. He has previously worked as an Applications Engineer II (physical design) and A&MS Layout Design Engr, I at Synopsys. Gaurav holds a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Inderprastha Engineering College, where he graduated in 2016. Prior to that, he completed his 12th grade from Central Board of Secondary Education with a Science stream and his 10th grade from the same board.
