Gaurav Kumar is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the industry. Currently working at Microsoft as a Software Engineer II, Gaurav has a strong background in NLU, Java, Mobile, SQL, Backend, Javascript, and Frontend development. Prior to his current role, Gaurav worked as a Lead Software Developer at Samsung, where he was a part of the Bixby platform team responsible for providing a platform on which Bixby clients (mobiles and gears) interact with ASR and NLU servers. Gaurav was specifically part of the ASR service team, which was a complete Java-based module. Before Samsung, Gaurav worked as a Software Intern at Maq Software, where he gained experience working with Javascript, CSS, HTML, and SQL as both a front-end and back-end developer. Gaurav holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, where he studied from 2013 to 2017. He also attended Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro Steel City, for his senior secondary school education from 2010 to 2012 and R.P.S. School from 2006 to 2010 for his senior school education. With his extensive experience in software development and his proficiency in various programming languages and tools, Gaurav is a valuable asset to any team.
