Gaurav Kumar is a skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. He is currently serving his notice period at Airtel, where he has been working as a Full Stack Developer using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Angular. Gaurav is a quick learner who is always eager to learn new things and programming languages. He is proficient in Java, JavaScript, Python, Rust, and Go. Gaurav is passionate about building new things and working on personal open-source projects. He is interested in socket/network programming and related tools and has developed Android apps using DroidScript and JavaScript. Gaurav has a strong background in mobile app development and started programming on Nokia Symbian S60 OS phones during his school days. He learnt Python and PyS60 to develop mobile apps, which sparked his interest in programming. He pursued Computer Science Engineering in college and has been continuously learning new programming languages and skills. Gaurav has worked with notable companies such as Nous Infosystems and Infosys, where he served as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer, respectively. At Nous Infosystems, he worked for a FinTech/Banking company Finastra, where he improved products for different banks of several countries. At Infosys, he worked for American company Avery Dennison and German client Daimler (Mercedes-Benz), where he implemented new features, fixed production issues, and designed REST APIs to fulfill the needs of dealers and customers. Gaurav holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, Bangalore. He is proficient in Software Engineering, Python, JavaScript, Spring, Java, Mobile, UI, AngularJS, SQL, Spring Boot, Sentiment Analysis, Computer Vision, Test, ML, Jenkins, Microservices, Flask, and Web.
