Gaurav Kumar is a seasoned technology leader with over 14 years of experience in various domains such as fintech, e-commerce, SAAS, food & groceries delivery, and live video streaming & content delivery network solutions. He is currently the Founder of MentorIF, a technology leader in fintech (digital lending), e-commerce, and SAAS domains. Gaurav has a proven track record of building and scaling products, teams, and technologies from scratch. He is deeply involved in hiring hand-picked people, making business tech strategies and execution plans, planning roadmaps, cost/time estimations/optimization, agile project management, scrum master, etc. Gaurav has also managed distributed engineering teams and has experience handling scalability challenges such as building scalable web/mobile applications, running around the globe, serving millions of users, and handling thousands of transactions on a daily basis. Gaurav has expertise in setting up and managing cloud-based/hybrid/in-house infrastructure, making architectural decisions such as developing event-driven systems, SOA, micro-services, parallel job processing, cyber security, machine learning, and REST/SOAP based API solutions and integration. He is experienced in DevOps operations such as deployment processes and automation, large database or big data, building CI/CD pipeline, handling and preventing cyber attacks, testing automation, master/slave configuration, and clustering. Gaurav has built machine learning platforms and predictive analysis systems powered by artificial intelligence for various organizations. He has also developed ML technologies for fintech to provide early signals of fraud or bad users, underwriting the customers' profile and risk algorithm. Gaurav has worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Capfront Technologies and Head of Engineering at The Luxury Closet. At Capfront Technologies, he launched the app in 3.5 months to start the disbursement and operations with a team size of 12. He also built a highly consistent and scalable product with only 45K INR of dispute. At The Luxury Closet, he built seller-side technologies to bring down the item onboarding time from 22 days to 3 days. Gaurav holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from N.C. College of Engg under Kurukshetra University. He has expertise in various technologies such as ML, integration, AI, CI/CD, microservices, DevOps, big data, mobile, web, AWS, P2P, Python, Java, etc.
