Gaurav Lall is a seasoned technocrat with over 15 years of experience in software designing and development, specializing in capital market domains. He has spent the last 8 years working in this field and has become an expert in designing and developing enterprise-level applications for top investment banks, catering to both front and middle office users. With over 6 years of team leading experience, Gaurav has been playing a dual role of team lead and technical architect. Currently, Gaurav is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, where he is leading the development of a front office trading application for Syndicated Loans for Wells Fargo. The technology stack being used in this project includes WPF, C#, Multi-Threading, Infragistics, Reactive UI, Tibco EMS, and SQL Server. He has expertise in WPF, C#, MultiThreading, SQL Server, WCF, Asp.Net, Windows, and web application programming, utilizing extreme (agile: Scrum model) programming methodology. Gaurav has worked on various domains like finance (investment banking), retail banking, smart cards, and has a good understanding of finance domain which includes Syndicated Loans, Equities, Equity Derivatives, Index/ETFs, and Fixed Income. Before joining Microsoft, Gaurav worked as a Technology Specialist at Synechron for 12 years. Gaurav holds a degree in Intermediate from Ram Mohun Roy Seminary and a degree in Matriculation from Nazareth Academy, both with a focus on science and mathematics. He is proficient in Software Engineering, SQL, .NET, UI, ASP.NET, and web development. With a relevant experience of 18.37 years, Gaurav is a highly skilled and experienced professional in the software development industry.
