Gaurav Nagpal is a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the IT industry. Currently, he is working at tarams as a Software Development Engineer, where he is responsible for application design and development (user-facing and admin), application administration for Vagrant/Ansible, handling/fixing and enhancing the same, environment setup (uWsgi and Nginx along with supervisord), handling Admin interface, deployment using Fabric, and worked on Data Entry part, where all entities were moved from MongoDB to MySql database after published by admin. Prior to this, Gaurav has worked at Rakuten as a Software Developer and Senior Software Engineer. At Rakuten, he created design diagrams for all required APIs and developed the code using that, wrote unit test cases using SQLite3 test database for all developed APIs, did stress testing of all the APIs using Locust and wrk tool, created and used Kafka server using which we can send data in Kafka topics asynchronously, used Flask apscheduler to convert python file as a service, worked on GIT Advance, and automated JMeter script to Test APIs GET and POST methods. Additionally, as a Senior Software Engineer, he managed a small team of programmers using a modified version of the agile development, mentored one Intern as well for an internal project, and learned and worked on Docker Container and docker registry part. Gaurav has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology from mmec mullana, ambala, and completed his schooling from magss school sirsa.
