Gaurav Ramola is a Lead Data Scientist (Computer Vision) at yubi with a passion for Self-Supervised Learning, Deep Metric Learning, GANs, and FER methods. He has 5.79 years of experience in the field of Computer Vision, Data Science, and Machine Learning. Gaurav's most recent work at yubi involves Document Analysis, where he applies his expertise in Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Deep Learning to develop cutting-edge solutions. Prior to yubi, Gaurav worked at Samsung as a Lead Software Engineer and a Senior Software Engineer. At Samsung, he developed various intelligence engines for the Single Take Camera, including an OpenCV-based Duplicate Frame Detection engine, a Collage Engine, and a Deep Learning-based Aesthetic score engine. Gaurav was awarded the Samsung Excellence Award in 2021 for his outstanding work on the Single Take Camera. Gaurav also mentored an intern for two projects at Samsung, including Headpose Estimation Task and GAN Based Semantic Image Editing. He successfully improved the accuracy of Headpose Estimation Task by 1.8% and developed a trained model for GAN Based Semantic Image Editing to improve the aesthetics of the image. Gaurav holds a Master's degree in Visual Image Processing and Embedded Systems, E & ECE from IIT and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the College of Technology, G.B.P.U.A&T, Pantnagar. He also completed his Intermediate (10+2) and High School education from Kendriya Vidyalaya, ITBP Seemadwar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Gaurav's technical skills include Computer Vision, Image Processing, Deep Learning, Supervised Learning, OpenCV, GAN, Mobile, and Android. He is a research-oriented individual with a strong background in Data Science and Machine Learning.
