Gaurav Sahu is a highly skilled Software Engineer with 3.20 years of experience in the field. Currently working at JPMorgan Chase & Co., he has a strong background in Machine Learning, Web Development, and Natural Language Processing. Previously, Gaurav worked as a Senior Technical Officer at ISTE VESIT, where he managed and supervised technical operations and events within the society. He also conducted workshops and seminars on various topics related to Machine Learning and Web Scraping for society members. Gaurav also worked as a Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. During his time there, he researched and developed graphical ranking models and sequence labelling supervised approaches for text summarization. He also worked on various techniques such as TF-IDF, Textrank, SVM, Conditional Random Fields, and Pointer Generator Networks with attention mechanisms for extractive and abstractive summarization. Additionally, he developed an application on Flask and wrote REST API for POST requests for generating summaries. Gaurav holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology. He also completed his HSC from South Indian Education Societys College of Arts Science and Commerce Sion West Mumbai and SSC from Holy Cross High School.
