Gaurav Saini is a Full Stack JavaScript Developer with a passion for building products and solving real-life problems. He is an open-source enthusiast, author, and speaker who has been actively involved in various projects, including Apache Roller, Fineract, and Ofbiz. Gaurav is also an Apache Contributor and Committer, and he has been selected as a speaker at multiple conferences, including Mifos Techdays, ApacheCON, and Mifos Summit. Gaurav has extensive experience in building e-commerce applications based on OFBiz, working with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, and developing data extraction projects. He is interested in migrating existing e-commerce projects to Apache Ofbiz and has built various small websites in different Content Management Systems like DotCMS, Wordpress, and Joomla. He also has working knowledge with Linux environment and Shell Scripting. In addition to his experience in e-commerce, Gaurav has been working on Blockchain, Smart Contracts, IOT, and multiple VOIP projects. He has developed M-commerce, Flight Booking, Hotel Booking mobile applications using Ionic Framework and data from REST APIs. Gaurav has also worked on back-office apps based on AngularJs. Gaurav has been an Intern at Google Summer of Code 2014 and mentored in 2016, 2017, 2018, and GCI mentor in 2014, 2016, 2017 with Mifos Initiative. He was selected as a delegate for GSOC Summit in 2014, 2016, 2017 San Francisco. He was also a semi-finalist in Google Online Marketing Challenge 2012 and has expertise in Google Ad-words, Analytics, Social and Internet Marketing. Currently, Gaurav is the Chief Technology Officer at Fitelo, where he is building the easiest way to get fit. He is also the Co-Founder of Famstar, where he is solving finance for the creator economy. Famstar manages money for creators, handles taxation, GST & financial reporting, and collaborates with top brands. Gaurav is also the Founder of Vizitor, which is a digital register for digital India. Vizitor manages all of your guests who arrive at your premises and lets your visitors check-in digitally rather than making a manual entry on a register at your front desk or reception area of your office.
