Gaurav Saral is a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at Google with over 9 years of experience in cloud systems, scale, and performance. He is a quick learner, thinker, and creative problem solver who enjoys taking on challenging projects. Before joining Google, Gaurav worked at Microsoft and GitHub, where he held the positions of Senior Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead, respectively. At GitHub, he led the development of MsTeams integration with GitHub, from concept to global availability. His role involved coming up with a high-level architecture that is scale-proof for the future, mentoring junior engineers in the team, and collaborating with partner teams in GitHub and Microsoft to deliver customer scenarios. Gaurav holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from KIIT University, where he graduated in 2012. He also attended DAV school from 1996 to 2008.
