Gaurav Sawant is a highly experienced product owner and scrum master currently leading the Connectivity & Edge Product Development Team in Pune for Siemens Mindsphere. With over 13 years of experience in software development, he has led several software development projects for MindSphere, an open IoT operating system, across various phases of the software development life cycle. Gaurav has also completed an Executive Certificate Program in Big Data Analytics from S.P. Jain Institute & Management Research, Mumbai, where he gained expertise in big data analysis. Gaurav holds a Masters of Technology (M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in CAD/CAM from Nirma University and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University. He has also been granted a patent in the Compute Aided Design (CAD) domain by Siemens, highlighting his expertise in the field. In the past, Gaurav has led software development projects for enhancements in NX Routing Mechanical & NX Routing Electrical Modules to cater to customers from various industries like Shipbuilding, Automotive, Aerospace, Oil & Gas Piping Industry, etc. His technical skills include software engineering, big data, testing, and research science. As a product owner and scrum master, Gaurav is responsible for leading his team in developing innovative products and solutions for Siemens Mindsphere.
