Gaurav Shahlot is a highly experienced Chief Product Officer currently leading the product and design function across the portfolio of Khatabook, a financial technology company. With over 15 years of relevant experience, Gaurav is a seasoned professional in the field of product management and software engineering. Prior to his current role, Gaurav was the SVP & Head of Product at Hotstar, where he assembled a top-notch product team in India and built a top advertising destination for thousands of brands. He also played a key role in scaling Hotstar to become the biggest subscription service in the country and creating a world record for concurrent viewers on the platform. Gaurav has also held the position of SVP Product, Monetisation - Ads, Subs & Payments at Hotstar, where he built the largest subscription platform for India & SEA and solved hard problems in targeting, formats, measurement & serving across live and on-demand content. Gaurav's educational background includes a BE in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, as well as studies in Electronics from Hislop College. He also attended St. Xavier's High School. At Khatabook, Gaurav's goal is to help businesses become more efficient and increase their income. He is currently hiring product leaders and designers across levels, from VP to SPM, for lending platforms. In addition to his work in financial services, Gaurav also oversees the software and commerce functions of Khatabook, which includes Bizanalyst and Bizmart. Gaurav's tech stack includes expertise in product management and senior software engineering.
