Gaurav Shinh is a highly accomplished Founder and CEO of DaasLabs - a Data and Analytics Services and Product Company. With over 24 years of experience in solving data challenges globally, Gaurav is passionately dedicated to data and analytics. He founded a consultancy firm named Data & Analytics Services in 2014, and his team has been helping clients with Data Strategy and Digital Transformation, providing expertise in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML), Natural Language, Computer Vision (both Video AI and Imaging), IoT, and Process Automation (RPA). Gaurav is a techno-commercial professional with a proven track record of delivering value by providing data solutions to solve complex business problems. He leverages the power of AI and ML to create commercially viable solutions for his clients. Gaurav holds an MBA in investment banking and corporate strategy from the University of Toronto and an Engineering (Honors) degree from Punjab Technical University. He has set up a bank-wide Treasury Solutions & Ledger Transformation team in India. Gaurav has delivered and owned the reconciliation portfolio for Barclaycard and UK Retail Bank using intelliMatch and avoided the cost of £800K GBP by automating reconciliations for new product roll-outs. He has saved £2 million Sterling by re-engineering and automating the existing reconciliation processes and securitized the UK and US Card Securitization portfolio (circa £9 bn per balance sheet) using ABS Suite. Gaurav has provided strategic consulting to senior stakeholders, set up shared services organizations, and delivery platforms for multiple product and application portfolios. He has defined micro-strategies to enhance customer value for Nissan Canada, contributing $3.8m to annual revenue. Gaurav has developed strong communities and advisory panels (CAPs) for multiple clients, generating revenue of $1.5m. Gaurav is an exceptional people/transition manager and has won the Barclays Platinum League Award for team performance in 2010. He has integrated technology teams across multiple tech offices to provide common Run the Bank (RTB) services pan Barclays. Gaurav has led technical and process due-diligence for large-scale BOT deals.
