Prior to joining CitiusTech, Gaurav worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at VAO, where he worked directly with Dr. Valentina Pedoia and Dr. Davide Onofrio to engineer NLP models focused on improving supply chain predictability and visibility. He used technologies such as Bert, T5, T0, Facebook DPR, Elasticsearch, Haystack, and FAISS to develop Information Retrieval Systems (IRQA), Text2Text Generation, Data Ingestion, and Abstractive Summarization. Gaurav also worked as a Deep Learning Engineer at Neurovision, where he developed a system for detecting the speed of a car using computer vision and machine learning. He used Tensorflow, Keras, Opencv, and Yolov5 to create a Multi Branched Neural Network for speed estimation. Additionally, he created an intent-based chatbot using natural language processing for customer support of a company's website, and developed an automatic attendance system using Tensorflow, Keras, and haar cascades for face detection. Gaurav holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from NMIMS, where he gained expertise in ML, Data Science, Deep Learning, Information Retrieval, BERT, NLP, Keras, Tensorflow, Elastic Search, Computer Vision, OpenCV, and Neural Networks.
