Gaurav Shrishrimal is a dynamic entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Kaagaz, a mobile-first productivity tool that aims to empower Bharat users to become part of the mainstream digital economy. He is a graduate of IIT Kanpur with a B Tech in Materials Science and Engineering, and has worked with Credit Suisse, Reliance Capital, and Towers Watson. Before founding Kaagaz, Gaurav founded Tapp Me, which provided on-demand home services in three Tier-II cities in India, and also served as a pan-India renovations and interiors service provider. The company worked with clients such as Ultratech and Livspace, and scaled to a revenue run rate of ₹6 Crore/Annum while serving more than 100k customers. Gaurav later founded Sorted AI, a smart reminders app that could set reminders from documents, auto-organize documents, and allow users to set manual reminders. While building Sorted AI, the idea for Kaagaz Scanner was born. Gaurav is a pro-Indian startup ecosystem enthusiast and loves to help entrepreneurs. He is passionate about building a mobile-first productivity tool that can empower Bharat users and help them become part of the mainstream digital economy. He is also interested in AI, Backend, and Mobile technologies. In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Gaurav is an avid learner and content creator, and he regularly shares his startup experiences, learnings, and memes on his social media channels. He is also a graduate of GrowthX, and Y Combinator. Gaurav is a versatile professional with relevant experience of 9.20 years, and he is currently heading marketing and growth for Kaagaz.
