Gaurav Singh is a Cyber Security Engineer at BMC Software with a Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security and Law from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi. He is also an ISO 27001 LA and AZ-900 certified professional with expertise in Blockchain Technology. Currently, Gaurav is working with FIS Global as an Information Security Engineer where he is responsible for managing security tool compliance and documentation. He has experience in dealing with endpoint security tools such as FireEye HX (AV & EDR), Palo Alto Cortex (XDR), Bit9 (Carbon Black), Beyond Trust (Privilege access management), and BigFix (Software Management) tools. His responsibilities include managing policies, host sets, and false positives, exclusion validation, and managing alerts. Gaurav also has experience in dealing with change tickets, incident tickets, and other service requests using Service Now. Prior to his current role, Gaurav has worked as a Student Placement Coordinator at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies and as a Summer Intern at BHEL where he received industrial training on Hydroelectric Generator. Gaurav possesses a diverse skill set that includes Network Security, Application Security (Mobile, Web & IoT), Cryptography, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPPA, Risk Management, Cloud Computing (AWS Secure configuration, Policies, IAM), Cyber Law, Digital Forensics, Security Tools (Burp suit, NMAP, NIKTO, Qualys, Nessus), Buffer overflow, and Reverse Engineering. He is a strong analytical thinker with excellent leadership skills and the ability to coordinate with teams. Gaurav is always eager to learn and has set his certification goal to become a CISSP professional. He also plans to research Blockchain security & attacks and Dark Web.
