Gaurav Singh is an experienced software engineer with over 7 years of experience in the software industry. He is passionate about software and considers it a way of life. He is interested in cloud technologies and is currently working as a Software Engineer 2 at Citrix. At Citrix, Gaurav has created an Updater Service used in autoupdate of Citrix Workspace App. He has added capabilities for silent autoupdate after checking user inactivity and developed a new UI for autoupdate that is shown to users. He has completed unit testing of the service through the NUnit framework and added Google Analytics support for monitoring and alerting. Gaurav has also created a cross-platform SDK for Google Analytics and Citrix Analytics Service, implementing support for hit level and user level custom dimensions in GA, encryption and decryption to store and get event hub URL and token stored on disk, a sampling algorithm to reduce the number of events to save on costs, and complete security threat modelling and design. He has implemented end-to-end functional automation test cases through Wireshark APIs and PowerShell script and completed unit testing of code using Google Test framework. Gaurav has created custom reports in the Google Analytics dashboard to track key user data. Prior to his current role, Gaurav worked as a Software Engineer 1 at Citrix, where he created the "Rebranding as a Service" feature, error page, loading page, and "No stores added page" using WPF. He also migrated the compiler from Visual Studio 2005 to 2008. Gaurav holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi.
