Gaurav Soni is an experienced Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the computer software industry. He is currently working as a Software Engineer III SRE in Google Traffic team. Gaurav is skilled in Java, Scala, Capital Market, Advertisement, TDD, AWS, and server-less technologies. He is an engineering professional with a Bachelor’s Degree focused in Computer Science from Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology. Gaurav has previously worked as a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon, where he was a part of the Advertisement Audience Builder team. He worked on an initiative that allowed advertising agencies to get insight into Advertisement Audiences by following an API-first approach. Prior to this, he worked in the Apartment Locker team and delivered solutions to launch new Lockers in the EU region. Gaurav used AWS extensively for all the projects and used Java for server-side development. Before joining Amazon, Gaurav worked as a Software Developer at Ion, where he worked on a Repurchase Agreements Trading System known as the Anvil Repo Trading solution. He worked on multiple services like trade booking, enrichment, validation, persistence, and flowing down to the down-stream systems. Recently, he has been working on a product that will enable capturing of orders and trades into the Anvil Solution by processing emails and chats. Gaurav has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and completed his High School from St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, CBSE.
