Gaurav Srivastava is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working as an SDE II at Flipkart, where he is a part of the recommendations team, utilizing machine learning to provide quality content to users. Gaurav is responsible for the development and scaling of the serving systems, ensuring that they are optimized and re-architected to meet the needs of the users. Gaurav is a graduate of NIT Uttarakhand in Computer Science and Engineering. He has always been passionate about programming, and this has been evident from his school days. He has built several applications from scratch and has worked on sustaining, scaling, optimization, and re-architecture of applications. His technical expertise includes Software Engineering, ML, SQL, Spring, Backend, Spark, Scikit, Python, Django, Pandas, Kafka, Spring Boot, and Web. Apart from his technical skills, Gaurav is an enthusiastic sportsman. He enjoys playing Table Tennis and Badminton in his free time.
