Gaurav Srivastava is a seasoned technology leader with over 12 years of experience in the software industry. He is currently the SVP of Mobile Engineering at Bobble AI, where he heads the mobile development team responsible for bringing the company's vision into action on both Android and iOS platforms. Gaurav is a founding member of Bobble and holds the position of VP of Mobile Engineering. Bobble Keyboard, an input method that allows users to personalize conversations on Android and iPhones, is the most viral and engaged app from India with over 8 million installs. As the highest ranking Android app in India at this scale, Bobble has the youngest user base, younger than even Snapchat. Gaurav is responsible for setting up the mobile engineering team and ensuring the adoption of solid engineering practices to deliver releases within agreed-upon timelines. Gaurav's past experience includes working as a Computer Scientist and Member of Technical Staff at Adobe, where he worked on various components of Adobe Target and Adobe Photoshop Elements. He was also part of the team that integrated Adobe Revel, a cloud-based image application, inside Photoshop Elements. Gaurav has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from MNNIT, Allahabad, and has completed his intermediate and high school education from Lucknow Public College. Gaurav's technical skills include Mobile, Senior Software Engineer, AI, Android, test, iOS, Research Scientist, Integration, Search, Software Engineer, and UI. He is a mentor to his team and provides technical direction for the development and design of projects from definition to implementation phase. He is responsible for the timely and successful execution of the project, ensuring high quality of code through good engineering practices like code reviews, UT, CI, etc. Gaurav co-ordinates on a daily basis with different teams such as design, product, test, and analytics for the smooth functioning of the development team.
