Gaurav Verma is an experienced Software Developer with over 8 years of experience in the e-commerce and system security industry. He is currently working as an SDE II at Amazon, where he has been able to hone his skills in Problem Solving, Data Structures and Algorithm, Design, Object Oriented Programming and File Systems. Prior to his current role, Gaurav has worked with Intel as a Senior Software Development Engineer and with McAfee as a Software Development Engineer. During his time at McAfee, he was part of the team that was responsible for the development of the solidifier security product for different UNIX flavors and platforms. This product was a white-listing based security product, operating at the kernel level, providing the application control and change monitoring in real time. Gaurav has also worked on the Linux Kernel Module Re-Architecture project, which was aimed at achieving Kernel Independence and resolving GPL licensing issues for solidifier on all Linux Platforms. He worked on this project with four other members and was able to make significant contributions to its success. Gaurav holds a B. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology and completed his XII from D. A. V. Inter College, Mau, with a focus on Mathematics. He is skilled in Software Engineering and has over 13 years of relevant experience in the industry. Gaurav is a strong engineering professional who is always eager to learn and take on new challenges.
