Gauri Dhawan is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for building and contributing to products that have a social impact. She is currently working at Oracle NetSuite as a Software Engineer, where she is responsible for developing and maintaining software systems that help businesses manage their finances, operations, and customer relations. Gauri has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University. She has over three years of relevant experience in the tech industry, and she is proficient in a variety of tech stacks, including AWS, DevOps, Backend, and testing. In addition to her work at Oracle NetSuite, Gauri has also worked as a Summer Intern at CereLabs, where she developed a recommendation system for MeetKalakar, one of the company's clients. She used Gensim's doc2Vec to vectorize the documents and then used tSNE dimensionality reduction to find cosine similarity between documents. Before her work at CereLabs, Gauri worked as a Research Intern at Lancaster University, where she worked under Dr. Leandro Marcolino on the enhancement of UCT Monte Carlo. She also worked as a Software Development Intern at Sheroes, where she worked on enhancements in the platform's feed, designed and implemented user deactivation feature, and worked on New Relic integration with the services using Docker. Gauri is a highly motivated individual who loves to take on multiple roles, including backend development, DevOps, testing, and interacting with customers.
