She is currently serving as the Engineering Manager, Production Engineering at Shopify, where she leads end-to-end delivery on tight timelines. Gauri has a passion for products and how technology can change lives, and has worked on architecture and scalability challenges for growth stage startups and enterprises. As a proficient problem-solver, Gauri has extensive experience with open source technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, databases, and more. She has hands-on developer experience in R&D of high-quality and scalable products and platforms. Gauri is known for her expertise in backend software development and is capable of delivering on complex projects. Prior to joining Shopify, Gauri worked as the Tech Lead Manager, Developer Platform at WeWork. She was responsible for building and scaling Developer Platform Infrastructure leveraging Go, Kubernetes, gRPC, GraphQL, AWS, databases, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, and much more. She has also worked as the Lead Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure at Duetto, where she worked on data infrastructure, integrations, ETL, test framework, demand forecasting, and microservices architecture for scaling the dynamic pricing engine. Gauri holds a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
