Gauri Srivastava is a final year Mechanical and Automation Engineering student with a passion for coding, cooking, dancing, and traveling. She believes that mechanical engineers with programming skills can make a difference in people's lives worldwide. Gauri has participated in the Shell Eco Marathon, Asia 2019, where she designed and built an ultra energy-efficient vehicle. This experience helped her gain substantial knowledge in analyzing and evaluating problems and their outcomes at the nuclear level. Additionally, her summer internship at the Defence Research and Development Organisation taught her how to apply concepts and theories to real-life situations and think outside the box. Gauri has participated in several hackathons and has a knack for applying responsive design principles and watching pages shrink into mobile screens. She is part of various technical and non-scholastic societies, which has instilled in her the capacity to work in teams and the power of innovative thinking. Gauri is a software engineer at Chegg Inc., where she applies her skills in C, C++, Java, Python, MATLAB, SolidWorks, ANSYS, HTML, XML, Android Studio, and Arduino. She has worked on the front-end at Uversity and as a software developer at Altair, where she developed a software for automated testing of MotionAuto/MotionView using Python, TCL, and Jenkins. She also mimicked user actions on the model, created baselines for use-case models, and used NuQA to compare baseline and current results. Gauri is a research scientist with experience in mobile and front-end technologies. She has relevant experience of 1.19 years and is set to graduate with a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical and Automation Engineering from Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women in 2022. Gauri is passionate about innovation, learning new technologies, building optimized and energy-efficient solutions to problems, and contributing to overall project growth. She enjoys meeting new people and developing new relationships while solving problems.
