Gaurish Wagh is a seasoned engineer with over 20 years of experience in learning and capability development. He is currently the Head of People Development at Credit Suisse, where he leads Learning & Development for the organization. Gaurish is a certified International Culture Coach, and holds a post-graduate certification in Business Management from the Indian School of Business. With a proven track record of success, Gaurish has held leadership positions in several organizations. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, he served as the Director of Learning & Development at Sodexo, where he led the learning needs of 45,000+ employees across six business verticals and multiple service lines. He was responsible for the design and delivery of key front-line and leadership development initiatives PAN India. He also managed HR and L&D budgets and ensured high ROI and ROE. In addition, he was responsible for the design of learning architecture, organization development, and change management portfolio. He designed and implemented COE, leadership and professional development academies, industry and domain-specific skills, and was responsible for talent development and building leadership. Before Sodexo, Gaurish was the Head of Global Capability Development at Accenture, where he collaborated with capability development and business leadership to define key training strategies and capture training needs. He constructed capability assessments to identify skill and performance gaps, collaborated with key stakeholders to design capability solutions and learning frameworks, aligned solution strategies with best in industry meeting Accenture’s key business objectives, worked closely with subject matter experts, managed budgets to ensure alignment with financial considerations for all learning engagements, collaborated with world-class organizations/institutes to bring industry best practices in-house, partnered with business/entity leadership to provide crucial insight in global certifications, managed global training delivery, accreditations, industry certifications, and partnered with business leadership and capability development teams to build training academies and specialized learning interventions. Gaurish's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from the University of Mumbai, a Post Graduation in Advanced Computing from the Center for Development for Advanced Computing, Mumbai, and a Certification in Management from the Indian School of Business. He also holds an International Cultural Coach certification from Berlitz and an Advanced English Certification from Brainbench English Certification.
