Gautam Goenka is a seasoned technology leader with over 24 years of experience in the industry. He has a diverse background in technologies ranging from Windows to Linux, .NET to Java, Azure to AWS, Client to Cloud, DevOps, and Analytics. He is an IIT Kharagpur alumnus and has spent 16 years at Microsoft, where he held several leadership positions, including Partner Group Engineering Manager and Principal Development Manager. Gautam is currently the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Darwinbox, where he is leading the scalability and transformation of the engineering for the next phase of growth. He is responsible for building an agile HRMS suite and the next-gen HR Tech for the evolving world of work. Gautam's passion for technology has also led him to become an angel investor, startup evaluator, and mentor for startups across the Indian ecosystem at Eagle10 Ventures. At Kony Labs, Gautam served as the Senior Vice President and Head of Engineering, where he owned engineering for the Kony Platform (Kony Quantum), a multi-channel (web & mobile) application development platform with both front-end tools & back-end services. He led a geographically distributed, virtual P & L of 250 engineers from vision, inception to delivering an industry-leading platform resulting in a successful acquisition of Kony by Temenos, a leader in banking software, for over USD half billion. Gautam is a skilled leader with expertise in architecture, design, engineering, and scalability. He has a demonstrated capability to develop and deliver on the vision. He is blessed to have worked with many smart people and is fortunate to have contributed to their growth and success. Gautam's tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, AWS, Web, Java, DevOps, Azure, Mobile, Frontend, and Backend. Gautam completed his B.Tech in Industrial Eng. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1998.
