Gautam is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur, where he earned a BTech + MTech Dual degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science and Engineering. Gautam has gained valuable work experience through his internships at Nanyang Technological University and Texas Instruments. At Nanyang Technological University, Gautam worked on the efficient hardware implementation of Post-Quantum Cryptographic Candidate - Dilithium under Professor Anupam Chattopadhyay. He designed DILITHIUM 5 modules in Verilog on Xilinx Vivado and synthesized them on an FPGA chip. At Texas Instruments, Gautam worked on the system design of Reed Solomon Error correcting codes in MATLAB under Analog signal Chain team. He designed a parallel implementation of Reed Solomon Encoder and Decoder on MATLAB and implemented the error correcting system on RTL using SystemVerilog.
