Gautam Kapoor is a forward-thinking Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience in developing software solutions for the Finance, Hospitality and Social Media industries. He also designed, developed and deployed Microservices using RESTful API, Spring Boot, Docker, and Jenkins. Gautam has also worked as a Senior Associate Technology, Level 1 at Publicis Sapient. He created backend services for Marriott Inc. that enabled the end-user to search/book/cancel the Hotel Reservation, perform online check-in, earn and redeem reward points. He was part of the team that restructured the entire Architecture when Marriott re-branded itself as Marriott Bonvoy. Gautam identified areas of improvement and suggested enhancements, gathered and refined abstract requirements to Technical Design, contributed in Sprint Planning and Story creation/refinement, and initiated movement from legacy Services Architecture to Microservices based Architecture.
