Gautam Pai is a PMP certified project management leader with over 12 years of experience in successfully delivering large-scale and global IT implementations. He has expertise in leading teams of project managers to execute complex projects across various industries such as BFSI, Energy, Supply Chain, and Retail. Currently, Gautam is working as the Lead - Project Management at Whatfix, where he is responsible for streamlining activities and managing timetables to ensure optimum value for consumers and effective business execution. He also holds steering meetings and status meetings on project progress, reporting milestones and metrics, and works with clients to understand their needs and challenges and help formulate the delivery roadmap and project plans. Gautam leads a team of industry-specific project managers to build domain expertise and execute complex projects. Previously, Gautam worked as a Senior Project Manager at Whatfix and a Project Manager at CLDigital. At CLDigital, he monitored and tracked the project health to ensure the smooth execution without any impediments and on-time delivery of the project. He was responsible for release planning, features design, tracking status updates, communicating status updates to the customer, and worked with Solution Architects and Technical Consultants to prepare estimates for customer approval & billing. Gautam also worked with internal and external customers, stakeholders to identify business needs, prioritize product backlog, and define requirements for the user stories. He prepared a detailed project plan of engagement within the standards of project management methodologies, identified opportunities and offered solutions or improvements, created standards, implemented processes and new technologies to continuously improve the operational standards of excellence. Gautam holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Visvesvaraya Technological University, a Pre-University Course in Computer Science from GSS College Belgaum, and an SSLC from Don Bosco High School. Gautam is result-oriented and execution-focused, with a record of success in delivering business, technology, and e-commerce solutions that revitalize and improve IT processes and functions.
