Gautam Ramachandruni is a skilled Software Engineer in Test with over 5 years of experience in building cloud-native web applications and scaling them. Currently employed at Adobe as a Software Engineer in Test, Gautam has previously worked at Southwest Airlines as a System Engineer where he leveraged enterprise-standard Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to configure, host, and enable single-click deployments of AWS modules. He also helped build a cloud-native React administrative portal for pilot training certifiers and developed a test framework using Cypress to automate functional scenarios within the application. Gautam was the champion of quality in his team and owned sprint test plans and managed test cases for the same on Jira Xray. Additionally, he led bi-weekly communities of practice to expose scaled agile (SAFe) teams to shift-left testing and effective quality engineering. Prior to his role at Southwest Airlines, Gautam worked at Mindtree as a Software Engineer where he applied practical design methodologies to engineer RESTful enterprise applications with Angular front-end components and server-side logic—integrated through multi-branch CI pipelines. He also drove shift-left test automation strategies by building tailored service, UI, and end-to-end automation frameworks that minimize defect cycle time and ship quality products from "pod to prod." Gautam holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he graduated in 2018. He also has a High School degree in Mathematics from Sri Chaitanya Junior College and a General Studies degree from Oakridge International School.
