Gautham Kc is a versatile professional with expertise in data science, business intelligence, and cryptocurrency. He is an entrepreneur at heart and has a passion for analyzing data and finding patterns. Gautham started his career as an event assistant and quickly rose to become an event coordinator, earning a substantial paycheck in the process. He then pursued engineering and started his first company during summer vacations, which dealt with data conversion services. Although the venture was not successful, Gautham did not give up and started his next and first successful company, Cosmos Merchandise, which provides custom merchandise in both B2B and B2C segments. With his leadership, the company served over 100 clients across India and scaled from making 1000 INR to 2 Lakh/Month in revenue. Gautham's love for storytelling through images and video led him to join Wootera as a front-end developer, where he designed and built static one-page websites to multiple-page complicated websites. He later took up a course on Udemy and did projects on Kaggle and other platforms, re-igniting his love for data and AI. Gautham started his journey as a data storyteller and has been loving it for the last couple of years. Currently, Gautham is an Associate at themathcompany, where he works in the insurance and banking & financial services industries across risk, marketing, and supply chain functions. He has conceptualized and developed Power-BI dashboards that were used to analyze results from risk surveys conducted across multiple verticals. He also led a team of data engineers and data scientists to create a stock portfolio recommendation engine and delivered multiple modules of data science and data engineering training programs through webinars and live-sessions. Gautham has worked as an Associate Data Scientist at Vedoot, where he developed a lead scoring model to rank customers based on their likelihood to purchase real estate properties in Mysore, which increased sales by 10$ million annually and reduced the cost of the operation by over ~100k. He has also worked as a Frontend Developer at Wooterra, where he developed dynamic and interactive websites that ensured high traffic, page views, and user experience. Gautham holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology.
