Gautham Nambi is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer with a passion for building highly scalable services with low-latency, high availability, and consistency. With over 4 years of relevant experience, Gautham has a proven track record of designing and developing complex systems for various industries. Currently working as an Engineering Intern at primenumbers technologies, Gautham has built a chrome extension for internal purposes that gets the CSS selector path and writes them into the PostgreSQL database. He has also built a crawler in Python that fetches the CSS selector path from the database and writes the crawled data to a new schema. Additionally, he has designed a data pipeline in Python that processes the CSS selectors in such a way that it works with the crawler. Gautham has also fixed bugs in the production site backend part, which is completely developed in Django, and has worked on full-stack development for the internal CRM v2. Prior to his current role, Gautham worked as an Associate Software Engineer at mquotient, where he revamped the design pattern of the API and increased its performance and efficiency. He also delivered the container orchestration setup for the application using Docker and Swarm, designed a post-processor to process textual data into a specified format requested by clients, and developed a centralized report generator to summarize the work done by agents on different projects. Gautham also migrated the existing codebase to the latest version and developed and maintained a tracker to track the status of every asynchronous process fired up by the asynchronous task runner (Celery). He delivered and managed the requirements given by clients on an everyday basis for the improvisation of the application to solve more generic problems. Gautham also worked as a Software Engineer at Yukt, where he was a key founding engineer and developed the whole backend part of the system using Spring Boot. He designed and developed the whole B2B marketplace for trading agri-commodities and products, delivered a mechanism to send SMS and email notifications to clients from ERP and Marketplace based on some typical use cases, and implemented a consistent design principle for the whole backend architecture with which the further development can be carried upon. Gautham delivered API services in a test-driven development cycle and developed the core business logic for the backend to maintain consistency across the whole schema.
