Gayathri Balasubramani is a Senior Frontend Engineer at JP Morgan Chase & Co. with a passion for design and technology. She specializes in JavaScript and has experience building websites and web applications, currently working with React. Gayathri is a design thinker and an artist who enjoys exploring the intersection between technology and creativity. Gayathri's current role is as a Summer Intern at Lantrasoft Inc, where she is working on a project named HR-Wox. In this project, she is designing the database for the company and creating a web application using HTML, CSS, JSP, and MySQL for managing employee, department, and project details. The application also features employee leave tracking. In her past roles, Gayathri has worked as an intern at Thorogood Associates and Microsoft. At Thorogood Associates, she worked on a project named Forecast Volume Integration Hub (FVIH), which standardized the end-to-end Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) processes across all of the client’s global markets. She created a model that helps the client in financial forecasting and promotional planning using the Microsoft BI Stack. A web application using ASP .NET was also developed for the same. At Microsoft, she was part of the reading view team in Edge, responsible for creating the user preview of reading mode preview in Edge browser. This module helps in improving the reading experience and discoverability of reading view in Edge. Gayathri holds a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Software Engineering from PSG College of Technology, where she studied from 2012 to 2017. She also completed her High School education at Riverside Public School from 2005 to 2012. Gayathri's tech stack includes Frontend, Software Engineer, Javascript, Web, ReactJS, Java, Spring, and Python. With 6.11 years of relevant experience, Gayathri is a skilled and passionate frontend engineer who is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.
