Gayathri Krishnan is a seasoned Staff Software Engineer with over 18 years of experience in the IT industry. She discovered her passion for programming during her graduation in Electronics and Communications and has been in the field ever since. Gayathri started her career at eFunds, later FIS, where she worked on VB front-end and Oracle back-end projects and gained expertise in PL/SQL programming. She then moved on to work on SQL Server, ETL using DTS in SQL Server, and more Oracle PL/SQL programming before delving into the world of Java. Gayathri has worked on various technologies and tools such as Talend, Tableau, Teradata, Spring Batch, Angular, React, Maven, SVN, and Git BitBucket. She has also worked on Struts framework and EJBs and has hands-on experience in Spring and Hibernate. Currently working at Socure as a Staff Software Engineer I, Gayathri is still discovering and learning something new every day. She sees herself primarily as a solution provider and a Java Developer with good database knowledge. Gayathri's career goal is to solve problems, provide efficient solutions, and learn along the way while balancing her role as a parent. She is a proud working mom of two boys and believes that being a parent is a primary part of who she is. Gayathri has worked as a Lead Analyst at Bank of America and a Technical Lead at NielsenIQ, where she worked on a project built on a wide variety of technologies, including Hadoop, React, and Scala. Gayathri holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Anna University, where she specialized in Electronics and Communication. She is proficient in SQL, Spring, Java, ETL, Backend, Frontend, AngularJS, Hadoop, Microservices, AWS, Typescript, Research Scientist, Spring Boot, DevOps, Azure, Web, and Apache Hive.
