Geethik Rachaputi is a dedicated and highly skilled graduate student in Data Science at the University at Buffalo (SUNY). With a strong foundation in computer science, Geethik has gained valuable experience as an Associate Software Engineer at PowerSchool India, where he worked in ERP domain using legacy technologies 4GL and Visual Studio TFS, along with the latest technologies such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence. He has completed his Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering from Jain University in 2021 with a GPA of 8.54. Geethik is a quick learner and has a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies. His skills include Python, R, C Programming, Java, OOPS, and Data Analysis. He has a keen interest in social activities and is always looking for ways to bring about positive change in his community. Currently, Geethik is working as an Associate Software Engineer I at PowerSchool, where he is customizing the ERP product (eFinancePlus) using Genero-BDL on GitLab and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) along with JIRA and Confluence. He has contributed to software development, designing test cases, demonstrating the functionalities incorporated, implementing modifications, testing, and maintenance as part of the Agile process. He has also worked on Microsoft SQL to manage data operations between the front-end and the underlying code for various operations. Geethik has contributed to the development of new designs and features for the software to manage finance and administration. He has fixed bugs using Genero-BDL based on priority and severity along with delivering the quality product to the client. He has also performed Code Reviews for his peers as part of the development and CI/CD process to ensure that the code is clean and consistent. Geethik's past experience includes working as an L2 Support intern at Pelatro, where he worked as a support resource, helping clients resolve issues faced with the software. He worked on Linux and Hadoop, wrote complex queries to retrieve data from the Database, created various automation scripts to dissolve manual running jobs, and was responsible for data clean up in accordance with the business. He also created Monit alerts to keep a regular check on the processes running and ensure high performance. He executed MapReduce jobs to get the process done according to the campaign and created campaigns and implemented them in the client environment.
