Geethika Kotipalli is a Lead Software Engineer at CAFU with over 8 years of experience in building technical products that are scalable and create an impact on a wide scale. She is passionate about startups, building high-performance teams, and learning new technologies. Currently, Geethika is leading the tech team for CAFU Bolt, which manages the new verticals including car maintenance services and insurance. She handles both the product and tech responsibilities of the team that delivered $5 million in revenue in 2021. Geethika researched, designed, and presented the used car marketplace business model, which was approved and lauded by the leadership team, including the CEO. She led a team of 6 engineers and a designer to deliver car wash subscriptions, enabling a new mode of revenue for CAFU Bolt. Additionally, Geethika is leading the CAFU integration with Tokio Marine to deliver a one-of-a-kind car insurance product in the MENA region. Currently, she is working on setting up the Bolt architecture to migrate the system from a 3rd party-driven architecture (Salesforce) to a microservices architecture. Previously, Geethika worked as a Senior Software Engineer at CAFU, where she was a member of the Operations team. She built and automated the B2B system singlehandedly, moving the function from excel sheets to fully tech-driven. B2B currently contributes to 50% of CAFU's fuel revenue. Geethika also built the Ops dashboard from scratch, which is now used as the primary operations dashboard for CAFU fuel delivery. She designed and guided the implementation of CAFU smart alerting framework called Argos, which enables operations teams to respond to issues proactively by predicting potential anomalies in data. Additionally, Geethika designed and led the implementation of Zone health relay service, which understands marketplace health and flags potential opportunities of additional revenue for the business. Geethika has also worked as a Software Engineer II at Microsoft, where she contributed to building Kaizala, a mobile messaging (chat) app for large group communications and work management used by over a million clients. She integrated Kaizala actions framework into Microsoft Teams and developed many important features such as URL preview, Subscriber - Subscriber conversation, Read Receipts of a message, Message type display in chat list subtext, Image immersive view enhancements, etc., as part of Soul and Simplicity v-team.
