Georg Hauer is a dynamic and driven leader with a passion for scaling technology companies. As the COO at HAWK:AI, he is focused on creating a quantum leap in how banks use AI to fight financial crime. HAWK:AI is Germany's leading software platform for banks, fintechs, and payment companies to fight financial crime and money laundering. Georg has built and managed teams of various sizes and functions, from marketing to operations, from launch phase to change management. He has held many million EUR in P&L responsibility and generated 10-50x growth multiples in revenue and profit. Before joining HAWK:AI, Georg was part of the senior management team that grew N26, the mobile bank, from $500M to $9b valuation. He has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management and a Mag. rer. soc. oec. (equiv. to MSc) from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). He also has exchange studies in International Business from emlyon business school and International Marketing from the Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg State University. Georg has a strong tech background and is experienced in AI and mobile technology. He is an enthusiastic leader who is focused on disrupting old-established industries with technology. He is also a co-investor in HAWK:AI's $10 million Series A funding round led by BlackFin Capital Partners and Picus Capital.
