George Brindeiro is a Senior Manager of Product Communications at VTEX, a lifelong learner, and a passionate advocate of education and technology. George has taken on various roles throughout his career, including robotics research engineer, embedded software developer, startup founder, teacher, content translator, product manager, instructional designer, technical writer, community manager, technical trainer, and developer advocate. George has a unique perspective on his career path, as he doesn't see it as a search to fit a job description. He is looking for big challenges, learning opportunities, and work environments where he can be himself and be part of an awesome team. As the Senior Manager of Product Communications at VTEX, George is leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure all communication flows connected to VTEX products are clear, consistent, and provide appropriate cultural and technical context to enable their global expansion, guiding their customers to success regardless of where they are. George has worked with various companies in the past, including IESB, where he was a Professor of Artificial Intelligence, and Udacity, where he was the Lead Learning Technologist for Programming for Data Science. He managed learning globally for all students enrolled in the Programming for Data Science Nanodegree, and his responsibilities included owning ND-level completion and satisfaction metrics, onboarding, operations, and matching of students, providing additional learning support when students or content issues were escalated by mentors, and handling the highest escalated at-risk students 1:1 via phone/chat/email and proactive engagement. George has a diverse educational background, including a Master's degree in Mechatronics (Electronic and Automation Systems Engineering) from the University of Brasília and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics (Control and Automation Engineering) from the same university. He also completed a Bootcamp in Digital Product Leadership from Tera, a Nanodegree in Fundamentos de Data Science I, and a Nanodegree in Fundamentos de AI & Machine Learning from Udacity, and a degree in Mathematics (Licenciatura) from the Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul. He completed his K-12 education at the School of the Nations. George's technical skills include research scientist, supervised learning, designer, product manager, search, software engineer, ML, and data scientist. He has 4.20 years of relevant experience and is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.
