Prior to Soroco, he worked as a Wireless Researcher and Engineer at Adaptrum, where he designed and implemented wireless protocols and algorithms, and at Microsoft as a Wireless Research Intern, where he completed a novel protocol that significantly improves spectrum efficiency in TV White Space networks. George's academic background is equally impressive, with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, a Master's degree in Information Networking, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science, all from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh.
