Gerald Pharin is an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a passion for Web and Mobile applications, Image Processing, and Machine Learning. He is currently working as an Application Infrastructure Engineer at Tractable, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's application infrastructure. Gerald has a strong background in software engineering, having previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at BBC News and Andela. At BBC News, he was responsible for working on the media pages of the BBC World News Service, while at Andela, he worked on several software engineering projects. Gerald holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Kwame Nkrumah' University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, and a Diploma in General Science from Presbyterian Boys' High School, Legon. He has a diverse set of technical skills, including infra, software engineering, image processing, ML, mobile, and web development. Aside from his technical expertise, Gerald is also an adrenaline junkie who loves competing in go-karting, platform diving, and paragliding.
