Ghananil Phukan is a seasoned Senior Software Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation with over 20 years of relevant experience. He is responsible for leading the Android OS Tools development team based in Bangalore, ensuring the delivery of tools to all the Intel sites. Ghananil is a strong people manager with a proven track record of building high-performing teams from scratch to one of the best in an organization. Prior to his current role, Ghananil served as a Software Engineering Manager in the Software Solution Group - OTC at Intel. He was responsible for the development and validation of tools for Android for various platforms, including tablets, IoT, and modems. Ghananil also served as the Manager of Capability Validation Engineering at Intel, where he started as a software architect to develop software testing frameworks for complicated data center distributed computing software. He developed his team from just four testing engineers to 18 testing engineers (including interns) and seven developers, co-owning software development with the Israel team. His team is responsible for delivering 14 world-class product validations with 99% automation, and they have home-grown functional test frameworks in Java and performance testing frameworks in Java. Ghananil holds a post-graduate degree in Computer Science from Tezpur University, where he studied from 1999 to 2002.
