Gheri Rupchandani is a highly experienced and organized Engineering professional with over 11 years of experience in the industry. Currently working as an Application Developer at Thoughtworks, Gheri has previously worked at Cimpress and GE Oil & Gas. At Cimpress, Gheri was a Senior Software Engineer and was responsible for improving the throughput of hangfire jobs by 2X with AWS Elastic cache redis without downtime, which was a critical project as migration was done for ~10 microservices with 50K requests per minute. Additionally, Gheri also migrated stitch generation algorithms from javascript to Go-Lang, implemented Web-Assembly to run GoLang on the browser, and designed and implemented a reusable package for async routes with bull queue in NodeJs. At GE Oil & Gas, Gheri was a Software Developer and was involved in implementing data visualization efficient charts (2D and 3D charts) showing real-time data in seconds. Gheri was also the Feature Design Owner for a complex scaling feature, which was a very critical/useful feature in comparing trends of vibrations in different machines. Furthermore, Gheri was the Design Owner for abstracting third-party libraries from the project to decouple the project from third-party tools. Gheri has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai. Gheri's technical skills include AWS, Redis, Software Engineering, infra, Selenium, Javascript, NodeJS, CI/CD, Microservices, test, Web, Golang, qa, MongoDB, Mobile, Kubernetes, Typescript, Redux, Integration, and Senior Software Engineering. Gheri is highly organized and independent, able to effectively coordinate tasks to accomplish projects with timeliness and creativity. Gheri has a proven track record of collaborating with customers and building lean tools in AWS-API-Gateway-Lambda to automate the config setting based on product type. Gheri was also awarded the "Sprint Champion" Prize for delivering features on time with high quality and the "Learn and Adapt to Win" Award for implementing analytical legacy algorithms after studying legacy systems.
