Gholamreza Amayeh is a highly experienced and skilled software engineer and technical leader with expertise in solving challenging perception problems. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Tesla Autopilot.ai, where he is focused on AI for the camera tracking system to integrate real and virtual worlds. Gholamreza has a specialization in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Robotics, and Optimization, which he uses to build complex systems through a full design and development life-cycle, from prototype to product integration. Before joining Tesla, Gholamreza worked as a Software Engineer at Aurora and as a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Lead at Arraiy. At Arraiy, he was responsible for designing and developing algorithms for the Arraiy Deep Track, which included developing SLAM and 3D Reconstruction Algorithms. He was also responsible for the full development cycle of Fiducial based Camera Tracking for BlackBird, which won the Best Real-Time Graphics and Interactivity Award in SIGGraph 2017. Gholamreza has also authored four pending patents and has made several contributions to algorithm design and development throughout the Deep Track pipeline, calibration, detection, tracking, data augmentation, optimization, etc. Gholamreza holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Master of Science - MS in Digital Electronics and a Bachelor of Science - BS in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
