Giovanni Morreale is an EMEA Sr. Partner Technical Manager with over 24 years of experience in Pre-Sales & Channel Management in various areas of technology, including Big Data and Data Analytics, Cloud, Digitisation, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Observability, and Networking. He is fluent in English, French, and Italian and has lived and worked in multicultural cities like London, Paris, Brussels, Luxembourg, Milan, and Cannes, which has positively influenced his outlook on life. Giovanni is a regular practitioner of open water swimming, cycling, boxing, yoga, and meditation. He graduated from the Università degli Studi di Palermo in Italy in 1998 and also attended the Scuola Militare di Paracadutismo for Airborne Forces School. He also studied at the Politecnico di Milano. Currently, Giovanni is an EMEA Sr. Partner Technical Manager - Cloud Alliances at Splunk, where his role has evolved to a Cloud Alliance Technologist/Strategist with a particular focus on the relationship with AWS. His goal is to build trusted advisor relationships with the AWS Solution Architect and Regional Sales Manager communities through evangelization, technical alignment, and enablement, as well as driving joint solution initiatives to further the AWS and Splunk strategic alliance. In his previous roles at Splunk, Giovanni served as an EMEA Technical Distribution Manager, where he led the technical enablement for Splunk distribution across EMEA and was accountable for success metrics and overall partner growth. He also worked as a Senior Sales Engineer, covering Inside Sales opportunities for Splunk’s products and solutions, then progressed to Pre-Sales opportunities in the Field within the Public Sector and the Banking/Financial sector, where he focused on value-based differentiators to help close business. Giovanni's tech stack includes AWS, Senior Software Engineer, and Big Data. With his broad international experience and expertise, he is a valuable asset to any organization he works with.
