Giridhar Venkataraman is an experienced Lead QA Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. He is currently working at Paytm, where he leads the QA team. His expertise lies in test automation, manual testing, and quality assurance for web, iOS, and Android applications. Giridhar has previously worked with Passport and Mu Sigma, where he gained valuable experience in creating test scripts using Selenium for web apps, and Appium for Android and iOS apps. He has also written automated tests for more than 200 REST APIs using Behat - a BDD framework using PHP. In addition to this, he has extensive experience in manual testing of web, iOS, and Android applications on a daily basis. At Mu Sigma, Giridhar worked as a Business Analyst, where he constructed mathematical models and UI for client's various assortment optimization problems. He also worked on constructing feature planning models for clients using multiple metrics ranging from gross margin to POS metrics like sales, visits, etc. He has experience in handling large datasets in solving these problems. Giridhar holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology. He also completed his high school education in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science from DAV Higher Secondary School, Gopalapuram, Chennai. His technical skills include QA, test, Android, iOS, Web, SDET, Selenium, PHP, Parts-of-speech, and UI. He has over 8 years of relevant experience in the industry.
