Girish Baranda is an Engineering Lead at Oro, with over 9 years of relevant experience in building end-to-end technology products. He is a technology planner, systems architect, inventor, and a zero to one guy. Girish has a strong background in developing highly scalable software applications, web applications, IoT, and distributed systems. Currently, Girish is responsible for Engineering at Oro, an organization that aims to build products that can lower the cost of lending and help gold owners earn a dividend on their assets. He is leading the team to achieve this mission by designing and implementing innovative technological blueprints and system architectures from scratch. He is constantly on the lookout for great people to join Oro and help them achieve their mission. Prior to joining Oro, Girish served as the Head of Technology at Planin.xyz, where he designed, developed, and implemented 12 projects, including hardware and software. He has hands-on experience with mobile, desktop, and web applications from scratch to production. Girish has directed software and hardware engineering teams in complex project development and functionality objectives. He has built several products, including a social network (web and mobile app), short video mobile app, test conducting web app, safety device hardware and applications, and mobile chat apps. He has worked with major technologies such as Nodejs, Java, Swift, React, Redux, MongoDB, MySQL, AWS, Redis, Raspberry Pi, device fabrication, and network security. Girish holds a Bachelor's degree in Information & Communication Technology from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology.
