Gitanjali Chaturvedi is a development professional with over two decades of experience in managing government, client, and donor relations, leading projects in diverse geographical areas and on cross-cutting themes. She is currently working as a Project Lead for Gender, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the World Economic Forum. Gitanjali is globally recognized as a gender expert as well as an authority on Behavior Change Communication with publications. She is skilled at building networks and managing complex projects, with experience working in fragile and conflict environments. In addition to her current role, Gitanjali has served as a Member of the Advisory Board for the Partition Museum, where she played a crucial role in connecting the Trustees with the Government of Punjab to identify space where it is currently housed, found an academic partner in Amity University, NOIDA, and linked them with professional expertise in design and promotion. She is also a Member of the Managing Committee for Friends of Orchha, a non-governmental organization that helps communities subsisting on traditional crafts and farming in drought-prone Orchha to enhance their livelihoods through rural tourism. Gitanjali has an impressive educational background, including a PhD in Political Science & Development Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, an MPhil in Political Science from the same institution, and an MA in Political Science from JNU as well. She also has a BA (Honours) in Political Science from Presidency College and completed her ISC from La Martiniere for Girls and ICSE from Loreto House. Her technical skills include Integration and Infra, and she has relevant experience of 12.94 years.
